Why Fit Matters
Current tools focus on "Can I get in?" We answer: "Where will I thrive?"
When fit is missing, everyone pays the price.
Students transfer, change majors, or drop out not because they're incapable, but because the environment wasn't designed for them. Families lose time and tuition. Schools struggle with retention. And advisors are left to navigate it all with limited tools.

Neither source attributes these movements to institutional fit, and neither do we. They describe how often students change direction — which is the thing Tryve is trying to help them get right earlier.
The Problem

- The profile is there for the Fit Check: three questions about each college, answered in words. Could you get in? · Could you (or your family) afford it? · Would you thrive there? Each answer is Strong, Good, Mixed, Stretch or Not enough to say yet. There is no percentage, rank or total.
- A parent or guardian sees the lists and progress, and whatever else the student chooses to share. They never see the student’s conversations with Ora.

What is true today
- •No third-party analytics, advertising pixels or session recorders run on a student's account. We do not sell or share student data.
- •A student or their guardian can ask us to delete their account and data, and we act on it.
- •Every fit result records the inputs and configuration version that produced it, so any fit result can be explained and reproduced.
