Parental Consent Required
For students under 18, we ask for a parent or guardian's consent before a profile is created, and either of you can withdraw it and have the data deleted.
Private Answers Stay Private
There is no parent view of your child's conversations or profile answers. You can see what categories of data are held and ask for them to be deleted; you cannot read what your child wrote.

How to Read the Thrive Profile
What It Draws On
Your child's own words, set out under six sides of fit: Learning · People · Place · Values · Future · Support. For a college, a Fit Check asks three questions — Could you get in? · Could you (or your family) afford it? · Would you thrive there? — and answers each in one of five bands: Strong · Good · Mixed · Stretch · Not enough to say yet. The Fit Check is still being built, and where Tryve does not know enough it says so rather than guess. Nothing is added up into one number. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a measure of whether your child belongs somewhere.
What It Is Not
It is not an admissions chance, a prediction of your child's success, or advice about where to apply. Treat a Mixed or Stretch answer as a prompt to ask why, never as a reason to rule a school out.
