Ethics Board
We are establishing an independent ethics board. It does not exist yet, and until it does, nothing on this page describes oversight that is happening.
Where we are
We are recruiting members with backgrounds in AI ethics, student privacy and educational equity. No members have been appointed. We will name them here, with their affiliations, once they have agreed to serve — and not before.
In the meantime, decisions about the model, the data we collect and how Ora talks to students are made by the founding team, and you can ask us about any of them.
What it will be responsible for
